ScubaFest Photo Competition

Photographers from Ohio and the surrounding states are invited to compete in the first ScubaFest Regional Photo Competition.  This is a digital photo contest open to all underwater photographers from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania.

For the first time in any major competition, there is a Great Lakes category for pictures taken in any of the five Great Lakes and the rivers that connect them. The Fresh Water category is for the quarry, river and inland lake divers.  Also creating excitement is the 16 and Under category for the next generation of photographers.  Of course, there are the traditional Macro and Wide Angle categories.   Unless the category says otherwise, the pictures may have been taken anywhere in the world.

Prizes will be awarded in all five categories, as well as the entry deemed Best of Show.  The attendees at ScubaFest on Friday and Saturday will be casting ballots for the People’s Choice Award.  All the winners of the competition will be announced on Saturday at the OCSSDI 50th anniversary banquet.
