Certified in August 2000 was only the beginning. After slipping below that thin veil between our world and the watery world below I knew that this was what I wanted to do the rest of my life. Originally certified with SSI I soon was certified with PADI wanting to extend my knowledge of diving I decided I needed to learn as much as I could. Now certified in Nitrox, Dry suit, AOW, Rescue Diver, Navigation, Night, Low Vis, Photography, Search and Recovery,Boat Diver,Drift Diver, and others with PADI and SSI. I soon sought after the elusive Divemaster and pushing onward toward an Instructor rating with IANTD. Experimenting with different styles of diving including side slung tanks has been an adventure in itself. I now hold an Instructor Certification in Infant,Child,Adult-Cpr/AED/First Aid. But the most rewarding has been to be able to share my love for this great sport we call Scuba with so many other people. That has been the thrill of my life. I now am working on plans to teach the less priveleged people around us. If we can teach people from all walks of life about our world beneath the waves we have a better chance of saving the oceans that we love so much. However our quest to teach others begins with our own knowledge which is why we should never stop learning.
Come learn about the International Legends Of Diving. Learn who we are and what we are all about. Learn about past Legends and the Legends of the Future. If you have ever wondered what is was like in the beginning of the sport of scuba diving then this is the place to be. Scuba diving has been around much longer than people think. Session will include a talk and a video about International Legends Of Diving.
