
For 35 years Jim & Pat Stayer of Out of the Blue Productions, have been diving in the Great Lakes and around the world. Pat is a member of the Women’s Diving Hall of Fame and Jim has been a U.S.C.G Licensed Captain for 24 years. They have co-authored three books and produced 20 DVDs. The Stayers have discovered eight shipwrecks and documented numerous others. They have worked as cameramen for the History Channel and their footage has appeared on several major commercial networks. Jim and Pat have been popular presenters at dive shows across the country.

Diving the Ring of Fire
A special short banquet program: Imagine waking up to the boom of thunder and yet no lightening. Racing out on deck to see a volcano hurling huge chunks of superheated rocks into the air. Then gearing up and rolling into the water becoming the first divers to explore this remote island. Climaxing the day’s event by sitting in a tender boat 150 feet off the base of a volcano as it erupts spewing fire hundreds of feet into the air.
