Sue Smith of Dive Girl Scuba has a passion for shipwreck, cave, and technical diving.  She teaches for several dive agencies and is a Trimix instructor.  Sue also teaches for DAN and is an American Heart Association BLS instructor. 

A member of many organizations, Sue is in the Ford Seahorses, MAST (Maritime Archaeological Survey Team), is a public safety diver for the MTRT (Midwest Technical Recovery Team), and is a Trustee for the Ohio Council of Skin and Scuba Diving.

Sue specializes in training divers in technical and overhead environments.  Her strength is an emphasis on precision, safety, and critical thinking for real life situations.  She is presently involved in exploratory and survey projects on deep Great Lakes shipwrecks.  Her new book for the National Association for Cave Diving, “Guidelines for Success” is set for release in the spring.
