Rick currently works as a Captain operating dive boats (passenger vessels) in the Thousand Islands area of the upper St Lawrence River. He owns a 12 passenger dive boat called Riverdiver. Rick has been boating and travelling the Great Lakes, rivers, canals and other navigational areas in virtually all areas of the Eastern US and Canada. Rick has also dove many of the popular dive sites in these areas. He started scuba in the early 90's and became a scuba diver with a boat. That made him a popular guy and gave him a good excuse to be on the water and below. He is really not sure how many dives he has accumulated. Many of these dives have been in the Thousand Islands. Rick as Captain gives a thorough briefing on all the dives as he has dove them many times and knows the wrecks first hand.  Being advanced tri mix certified  adds to  divers convenience with gearing up etc. as he is aware of how to properly configure equipment and will assist when asked . Rick says when diving the Jodrey on air the wreck seemed a little more confusing the deeper he went. He advises divers to be well trained and briefed when diving the deeper wrecks.

Rick Lymer of Riverdiver Dive Charters escorts trips in the St. Lawrence Seaway of the 1000 Island region of Ontario (Brockville and Rockport).
