Photographers from Ohio and the surrounding states are invited to compete in the annual ScubaFest Ohio Regional Photo Competition. This is a digital photo contest open to all underwater photographers from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
The competition features a Great Lakes category for pictures taken in any of the five Great Lakes and the rivers that connect them. The Fresh Water category is for the quarry, river and inland lake divers. Also creating excitement is the Point & Shoot category for those photographers who do not have single lens reflex cameras. Of course, there are the traditional Macro & Closeup and Standard & Wide Angle categories. Unless the category says otherwise, the pictures may have been taken anywhere in the world.
Prizes will be awarded in all five categories, as well as the entry deemed Best of Show, which will receive a one week cruise on the Utila Aggressor II pictured above.
The attendees at ScubaFest on Friday and Saturday will be casting ballots for the People's Choice Award which will receive a $500 gift certificate towards a trip anywhere Deep Blue Adventures travels. All the winners of the Competition will be announced on Saturday at the ScubaFest banquet.
How to Enter
To enter by mail, fill in the Entry Form and mail it with your CD/DVD and payment as directed on the form.
To enter by eMail attach your pictures to the eMail and send them to PhotoContest@ScubaFest.org.
You must then mail an Entry Form and a check to the address on the Entry Form
